Jake "Juice Box Ott and the revitalized Camaro we built for the 2010  NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competing at Delaware Speedway

Jake Ott hits NASCAR Minor leagues

Ayr, ON

Team JWO Racing has officialy began it's second season at Delaware Speedway in the NASCAR Whelan All-American Series . With a great 2009 season, we decided a trip back to the drawing board was required for some much needed improvements in 2010. In order for the Juice Box to improve his seasonal postion and strive for a top 5 we knew some changes had to be made to the Camaro we lovingly call Kermit. This year's car still sports the GM 602 crate engine but is now backed up by a 4 speed Muncie M-21 transmission. As the season as already begun we have noticed a vast improvement in our times as the revamped driveline has really come to life.

We would like to thank our current sponsor line-up for their continued support. As many of you know without sponsors we would probably be forced to take up lawn bowling

2010 a season of change

The 2010 season has been a bumpy one already!!!

After a long and busy winter spending many late nights in the shop the new season here and we're back to racing. We spent the winter months completely re-building Jake's 1980 Camaro. We have totally upgraded the driveline for his trusty GM Perfromance 602 Crate. We have installed a new Transmission and rebuilt the rear differential with new axles, spool and bearing setup. Jake also spent many hours cutting and gutting the body on this year's Camaro to make it lighter, faster and better suited for racing at Delaware Speedway our home track. Were running the familiar green paint scheme with a touch of black to kind of give the car a little better appearance.

The support for the team in this 2010 season has been nothing short of fantastic and all of the fabulous people who helped us out last year have pledged to continue to support Jake and the JWO Racing team. We need especially thank Dennis Kings the owner and founder of Kings Wood Products our primary sponsor for the 2010 season. Thanks again Dick at Great Lakes Combustion and John Easton at Venture Refractories for your continued dedication and support. Thanks to our long time product sponsor Dave and Terry Lynn and the great folks down at M&A Automotive NAPA of Paris. As usual Jamie and Andrew at MacKay Advanced Energies came thru again with a new set of tires to start off the season. Without the help of these wonderful people and sponsors our racing would not be possible.
