Jake Ott and the new Camaro we built for the 2009  NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competing at Delaware Speedway

Jake Ott hits NASCAR Minor leagues

Ayr, ON

Team JWO Racing has officialy begun to race at Delaware Speedway in the NASCAR Whelan All-American Series for the 2009 racing season. With a less than a stellar 2008 season, we decided a much needed change in venue was required. In order for Jake to improve his driving skills we found it necessary to raise the bar yet again. This year's car still sports the GM 602 crate engine but is now backed up by a 3 speed Saginaw transmission. This will give Jake the much needed element of a maual transmission and clutch to master. We don't recall hearing of any Late Models with automatics!! It looks like we have some familiar sponsors this year and quite possibly some new ones coming on board. We would like to thank past sponsors Bothwell-Accurate and Awsome racewear for partaking in our program. We hope both of these fine companies continue to do well in these tough economic times.

2009 a new chapter begins

Amazing the 2009 season is finally underway! And what a beginning it has been.

After a long and cold winter spending many late nights in the shop sthe new season is finally here and we're back to racing. We spent the winter months completely building Jake a 1980 Camaro utilizing his trusty GM Perfromance 602 Crate, a JWO Racing prepaired Saginaw transmission, and a rebuilt differential. Jake also spent many hours cutting and gutting the body on his new Camaro to make it fast and suited for racing at Delaware Speedway our new home track. Were running a new green paint scheme as well to kind of give the car a little better appearance.

The support for the team in this 2009 season has been nothing short of Fantastic and all of the fabulous people who helped us out last year have pledged to continue to support Jake and the JWO Racing team.  Thanks again Dick at Great Lakes Combustion and Ryan at Brantflo Hydraulics for your continued dedication and support. Thanks to our long time product sponsor Dave and Terry Lynn and the great folks down at M&A Automotive NAPA of Paris. As usual Jamie and Andrew at MacKay Advanced Energies came thru again with a new set of tires to start off the seasonWithout the help of these wonderful people and sponsors our racing would not be possible.
